My name is Milan Smik and I come from Poprad, Slovakia. I have been using @MillanoArt as my social media handle across different platforms. Drawing and painting has been my thing ever since I have been a child. It all started with a colouring books, followed by pencil and marker drawings of cartoon characters.
My grandfather led me to a true art of drawing when I was approximately 10 years old. His drawings were simply phenomenal. I was able to seat around him during all of my summer and winter school holidays, including all of my free time.
I was able to brush up my skills at the secondary technical school which I was attending and there I was given a green light to draw and paint. I gradually experimented several styles.
I had been sharing and publishing my artwork ever since the rise of social media, focusing mainly on realistic drawings with polychromos coloured pencils, which require great focus on detail, as well as oil canvas painting of various formats. I also do pencil and graphite drawings.
